During the competition, there was talk at one point, amongst the Judges, of abandoning the competition but the competition resumed and members fought on through the wind and rain. Eventually their persistence paid off and they came home with some winning medals.
The results were as follows:-

Jeremy Beesley silver in the Mens Recurve
Simon Stubbs bronze in Mens Recurve

WELL DONE TEAM BXA!!
Well done Jennifer Beesley, Jeremy Beesley, Anita Stubbs, George Stubbs, Emily Rose Stubbs and Simon Stubbs from Banbury Cross Archers, who were part of the NCAS Squad last weekend. Archery GB is pleased to announce the names of the athletes who have been invited to the England Regional Performance Academy network to launch in September 2013. The Academies are supported by Sport England within the England Talent Pathway and represent a mix of archers on Olympic and Paralympic Pathways.
BXA would like to congratulate Emily Rose Stubbs on being selected onto the programme and wish her well for the future.
